Hello, and thank you for visiting my website! 

 

I am Angie Alegre, the AA and the creative behind it. For as long as I can remember, I have always been creative. At a very young age, I took to drawing and doodling, word shapes and intricate designs. In school, I took my time in making everything I submitted for marking look pretty. Presentation was always a big deal to me, and it boggles my mind that my passion was so evident even at such a young age.
 
I also had an immense love for all animals, and in my secondary school education, I took the required courses to study Veterinary medicine, pushing my creativity to the side. Fortunately for me, after 3-months in university, I realized it wasn't what I was supposed to do. I left university and took a year off to 

re-evaluate what I was passionate about, and there I realized that
I lived and breathed creativity, and it stirred something in me that I could no longer ignore.

 

I later re-emerged with two diplomas. A Graphic Design and Print Production diploma in one hand and an Advertising Communications Media diploma in the other from Mohawk College and had the pleasure of working with brands such as Robin Hood, The Heart and Stroke Foundation, Sears Canada, LG
Electronics Canada Inc. and AGA-Marvel.

Let's not forget my love for Photography. I provided direction in my previous employment but was never behind the camera until my first child's birth. Candid photos of her turned into photo shoots for family and friends and eventually expanded my extensive portfolio.
 
I give my late father, Pedro Alegre, credit for passing on the creative genes to me (although my mom Angelina is a little creative also.) My parents encouraged me to take risks and chase my dreams. My
father's passing made me realize that life is short, and we need to live each day to the fullest. Because of him, I have taken the plunge, and I couldn't be happier with the decision to do what I love and be an entrepreneur at the same time.
